A collaboration between three Yorkshire games companies has resulted in a number 2 hit in the Nintendo DS charts, helping Ubisoft to be the first company in three years to beat Nintendo’s own software sales on DS. Ubisoft’s Puzzler Collection is the result of a unique collaboration between three local studios; Tuna Technologies, Route 1 Games and Four Door Lemon.
“It’s just another example of the dynamic, imaginative and creative games industry we have in our region,” said Sector Manager of Game Republic, Jamie Sefton. “Yorkshire is the place to be for successful games companies.”
Puzzler Collection features 4 classic and very popular puzzles: Crossword, Wordsearch, Fitword and Sudoku. It will be released on Wii later this month.
